Is your business struggling to hire new employees? The Return to Earn Grant Program provides a match (up to $500 per eligible new hire) of hiring bonuses paid by eligible Prince William County small businesses to provide new hires with up to $1,000 to support their transition back into the workforce.
To qualify, the bonus must be paid to a worker who:
• is making at least $15 per hour
• was unemployed at the time of hire
• is working in a position that qualifies as taxable (W-2) employment
Qualifying childcare businesses may be eligible to receive up to $500 per new hire without the match requirement.
Applications are available through Virginia Career Works for interested businesses.
