Supervisor Vega Reads Resolution Honoring Anniversary of V-E Day

At their May 11th meeting, Supervisor Vega read a resolution honoring the anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe (May 8, 1945) on behalf of the Prince William County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

“We must forever honor the sacrifice of those who went before us to eradicate the evil caused by the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nazis) and their allies. Just as the Greatest Generation answered the call, so must we remain vigilant to ensure tyranny does not gain a foothold in our generation as well,” said Vega.
