Attempted Malicious Wounding – On August 22 at 2:00PM, officers responded to the Manassas Mall located at 8300 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 27-year-old man, reported to police that while inside the mall, he and a group of men engaged in a verbal altercation that escalated when the altercation proceeded to the parking lot. Initially, one of the suspects and the victim engaged in a physical altercation before three additional men began to strike the victim. At one point, one of the suspects brandished a knife and attempted to stab the victim. The victim was able to avoid being stabbed before running back inside the mall to separate from the suspects. A brief struggle ensued inside the mall between the parties before the suspects fled the area in a blue Honda sedan. In addition, a family member who was present during the altercation, reported their phone was missing. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Norwood

Aggravated Sexual Battery | Abduction with Intent to Defile – On August 30 at 8:54PM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at the UHaul Moving & Storage located in the 14500 block of Telegraph Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that day. The victim, a 21-year-old woman, reported to police that while working inside the business, a co-worker, identified as the accused, grabbed her from behind and inappropriately touched her. While still holding on to the victim, the accused pushed her towards another room. The accused forced the victim into an unoccupied room of the business before she was able to separate from the accused and run from the business to contact the police. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Melcolm Gerldrom NORWOOD, was arrested.

Aggravated Assault – On August 29 at 3:16AM, officers responded to the Sleep Inn located at 17470 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. Upon arriving at the location, officers located the victim, identified as a 25-year-old man, suffering from a laceration to his face. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation revealed that the victim was in the parking lot when he was approached by an unknown individual described as black male. During the encounter, the victim was struck by the suspect before running into the hotel where police were contacted.

The suspect was not located.

 

Strong-Arm Robbery – On August 29 at 2:23PM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred in the 8600 block of Parkland St. in Manassas (20111) earlier that morning. The victim, a 28-year-old man, reported to police that he and an acquaintance were near a parking lot of the above location when four unknown men approached them. A verbal altercation between the parties escalated when the suspects struck the victim several times. During the altercation, the victim fell to the ground where one of the suspects took the victim’s property. At some point, the parties separated, and the suspects fled the area in a silver Nissan SUV. The victim eventually reported the incident to police and minor injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspects were described as four Hispanic males wearing dark-colored clothing.

 

Commercial Burglary – On August 30 at 7:00AM, officers responded to the Valvoline service center located at 14103 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an alarm activation. A store employee reported to police that he received notification that an alarm was activated at the store. Video surveillance footage revealed that an unknown man gained entry into the business by damaging the garage door. The man was observed walking around the store before leaving through the rear exit door. No property was reported missing.

Abduction | Domestic Related – On August 27 at 12:39AM, officers responded to the Daniel Stuart Square Shopping Center located in the 1900 block of Daniel Stuart Sq. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 22-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were in the parking lot of the above location when a verbal altercation escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim multiple times before shoving her into a vehicle where he then prevented her from leaving. A short time later, the victim was able to separate from the accused and contacted the police. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Ayaris Deshaun MCCOY, was arrested.

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On August 27 at 10:55PM, officers responded to the Dominion Lake Ridge Apartments located in the 3200 block of Ridge View Ct. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. Upon arriving at the location, officers located a man, later identified as the accused, on the sidewalk in front of the apartment building suffering from the effects of pepper spray. The investigation revealed that while inside the apartment, the victim, a 53-year-old woman, and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused struck the victim in the face. The victim then sprayed the accused with pepper spray before the accused struck the victim several more times. Eventually, the accused ran out of the apartment and the police were contacted. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Arthur Joseph ROWE, was arrested.

Shooting Investigation – On September 2 at 10:43PM, officers responded to the Riverside Station Apartments located in the 14000 block of Big Crest Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate initial reports of a fight. While officers were responding, additional information received indicated shots were fired. When officers arrived in the area, they located a 24-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Officers rendered immediate first aid to the man before rescue personnel arrived and transported him to an area hospital for further treatment. The man’s injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. The preliminary investigation revealed that an altercation took place in the parking lot of the complex between a group of individuals. During the encounter, shots were fired before the group dispersed. A police K-9 responded to search for other parties involved. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.

Shooting Investigation *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – During the investigation into the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 1600 block of Florida Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) on August 26, detectives with the Violent Crimes Bureau identified the suspect as Zeven Raamel DEYO and obtained warrants for his arrest. Attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful.

Wanted for attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and shooting in public places

 

Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On August 26 at 6:40PM, officers responded to the 1600 block of Florida Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 19-year-old man, was driving on Maryland Ave. when he observed a man in the roadway walking towards him. As the victim continued to drive, he observed the man brandish a firearm before firing multiple rounds. The victim’s vehicle was struck with multiple rounds before he was able to leave the area. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries from the shattered glass of the vehicle and drove to a local hospital for treatment. No additional injuries or property damage were reported. Detectives with the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting. This incident does not appear to be random. Detectives continue to seek assistance from any witness to the incident. The investigation continues.

 

Attempted Armed Robbery – On September 5 at 7:15PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15200 block of Warbler Ct. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted robbery. The victim, a 61- year-old man, reported to police that he confronted an unknown individual who was walking in his driveway. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. The victim immediately separated from the suspect and contacted the police. The suspect initially fled on foot before leaving the area in a black SUV. While fleeing, the suspect threw the firearm into nearby bushes where it was recovered by police. No property was reported missing, and no injuries were reported.

Attempted Armed Robbery – On September 5 at 3:00AM, officers responded to the 13600 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing. The victim, a 29-year-old man, reported to police that while in the parking lot of the above area, two unknown men and an unknown woman approached him and an acquaintance who were sitting inside a vehicle. During the encounter, the suspects demanded the victim and the acquaintance exit the vehicle. Shortly after refusing to exit the vehicle, a dark colored Jeep pulled into the lot and two additional men approached the victim. These men also demanded the victim and the acquaintance exit the vehicle and when they refused, one of the suspects brandished a firearm. The acquaintance quickly drove out of the parking lot to a nearby business where police were contacted. At no point during the encounter were shots fired.

Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related – On September 4 at 5:06PM, officers responded to the intersection of Cardinal Dr. and Benita Fitzgerald Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a brandishing. The victim, a 37-year-old man, reported to police that he was stopped at the above intersection, when the traffic light changed. The black Toyota Camry behind him aggressively swerved around his vehicle and pulled up next to him. During the encounter, the driver of the Camry brandished a firearm towards the victim before driving away. The victim drove to his destination and contacted the police. At no time during the encounter were any shots fired.

Commercial Burglary – On September 4 at 8:38AM, officers responded to Moe’s Southwest Grill located at 12841 Galveston Ct. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. A store employee reported to police that upon opening the business that morning, they observed the safe was open and empty. Video surveillance revealed that at approximately 3:16AM, an unknown individual entered the business through the rear door and immediately went to the safe which was unsecured. The suspect then left the area on foot. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Abduction | Domestic Related – On September 6 at 1:50AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Inverness Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 44-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim and struck her before holding her on the ground and preventing her from leaving. At one point, a family member, a 9-year-old girl, attempted to intervene when the accused shoved her to the ground. Eventually the parties separated, and the police were contacted. The adult victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Gesese BITEW, was arrested.

Cassidy

Strong-Arm Robbery | Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 2 at 3:43PM, officers responded to the Exxon service station located at 8289 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that an employee observed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, inside the business concealing merchandise. The employee attempted to intervene and was struck in the face by the accused. The accused fled the business prior to officers arriving at the location. Responding officers located a man matching the description of the suspect at a nearby business where officers attempted to detain him. During the encounter, the man resisted before kicking and striking an officer. Officers eventually secured the man without further incident. The man was subsequently identified as the suspect involved in the robbery. The officer was not injured. The employee of the Exxon sustained minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Lucian Andrea CASSIDY, was arrested.

Commercial Burglary – On September 3 at 5:30AM, officers responded to the Shell service station located at 13801 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a vandalism. When officers arrived and reviewed surveillance footage, a man, later identified as the accused, was observed using a large rock to damage the front door to make entry inside. Officers recognized the man from previous interactions and subsequently located him in the area of a nearby business where he was detained without further incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Rodney Kayne BYRNE, was arrested. During a search, the accused was found in possession of a suspected illegal narcotic.

Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer – On September 6 at 4:29AM, officers responded to the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy. and Annapolis Way in Woodbridge (22192) to assist Virginia State Police with an arrest. During the arrest, the accused actively resisted and refused to follow officer’s commands. At one point during the altercation, the accused spat on the officer on more than one occasion. After a brief struggle, the accused was taken into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Bryan Joel GUILLEN, was charged.

Commercial Burglaries | Attempted Commercial Burglaries – On September 4, the suspect sought in connection to the series of commercial burglaries and attempted burglaries which were reported to have occurred in the Dumfries (22025) and Woodbridge (22193) areas on the morning of August 2, was arrested. Members of the Fairfax County Police Department located the suspect, Davian Malik MCKINNIE, and took him into custody. The accused will remain at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center until transported to Prince William County.

Commercial Burglary [Previously Released] – On August 2 at 5:39AM, officers responded to Cricket Wireless located at 4377 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an alarm activation. When officers arrived at the business, a rear door was found unsecured. Upon checking the business, several items were scattered about or missing. Video surveillance showed two men entering the business and removing items before fleeing.

The suspects were only described as black men wearing dark-colored clothing.

Strangulation | Domestic Related – On September 6 at 3:35PM, officers responded to the Food Lion located at 5592 Staples Mill Plz. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 27-year-old woman, reported to police that earlier in the day she and a family member, identified as the accused, were driving near the above location, when the accused struck the victim during a verbal altercation. The verbal altercation continued after the parties stopped in the above area. At one point, the victim ran into the business where the accused followed. The accused then followed the victim into the restroom where he then kicked in the stall door and grabbed the victim’s throat. As the victim was struggling to separate from the accused, he took her phone before she could exit the restroom. The victim immediately sought a store employee who contacted the police. The accused fled the business on foot. While investigating, officers located the accused in the Woodbridge area and, after a brief struggle, took him into custody without further incident. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Gregory Alan LEPP, was arrested.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 7 at 9:19AM, officers responded to the Stratford Condominiums located in the 11000 block of Folksie Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an attempted burglary. A resident of an apartment reported to police that earlier that morning, a noise was heard outside the home. Upon turning on the outside light, an unknown man was observed near a bedroom window holding the screen to the window. The man eventually jumped down from the deck and fled the area on foot. At no time was entry made into the apartment.

Shooting Investigation *ARREST – The suspect sought in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 1600 block of Florida Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) on August 26, was arrested. The suspect, Zeven Raamel DEYO, was taken into custody in the Manassas area.

Strangulation | Domestic Related – On September 8 at 8:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7600 block of Shelley Ln. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a domestic. The victim, an 18-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the altercation, the accused struck the victim several times before grabbing her throat. Eventually, the parties separated, and the victim contacted the police. The accused initially fled the home before returning where she was taken into custody. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Anahi ESTANISLADO MOLINERO, was arrested.

Commercial Burglary – On September 8 at 11:06PM, officers responded to the Giant located at 4309 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. An employee of the store reported to police that an unknown man was inside the store and forced his way through the window of the secured pharmacy section. Video surveillance footage revealed that the suspect removed medication before leaving the store. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located.

Larceny From Automobiles | Credit Card Theft – Following a series of larcenies from automobiles and credit card thefts which were reported to have occurred in the Gainesville (20155), Haymarket (20169), and Manassas (20109 and 20110) areas on August 21, detectives with the Property Crimes Unit identified two suspects in connection to the incidents. The investigation revealed the two suspects entered vehicles and removed property to include credit cards, wallets, and other personal property, which they then used at a later time. While investigating, additional incidents within the above areas were reported and detectives determined the same suspects are believed to have committed the additional larcenies. On September 9, detectives identified the suspects and conducted a search warrant at their residence where items of evidence were recovered. The investigation determined between August 17 and September 1, numerous larcenies, a burglary, and several fraudulent credit card uses occurred. Following the investigation, detectives identified the suspects as Tiffany Nichole GARRISON, and Godfrey Orlando WADE, and took them into custody without incident.

Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On September 9, the suspect sought in connection to themalicious wounding that was reported to have occurred in the 13600 block of Hornet Way in Woodbridge (22191) on April 16, was arrested. The suspect, Kevin LAZA, taken into custody in the Woodbridge area without incident.

Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On April 16 at 4:51PM, officers responded to the Woodbridge Station Apartments located in the 13600 block of Hornet Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 35-year-old man, reported to police that he observed a verbal altercation between two acquaintances and attempted to intervene. At that point, one of the acquaintances, identified as the accused, struck the victim before retrieving a knife and cutting him on the face. The parties separated before the suspect fled the area in a grey Jeep Grand Cherokee prior to police arriving at the residence. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Kevin LAZA. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

 

Strong-Arm Robbery – On September 12 at 2:54PM, officers responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 24-year-old man, reported to police that he was talking to a group of unknown men when he began to walk away. One of the men from the group quickly approached the victim from behind and grabbed his wrist. The suspect then twisted the victim’s wrist, causing him to fall to the ground before removing money from the victim’s hand. The suspect fled the area on foot and the victim contacted the police. The victim was transported to any area hospital with minor injuries. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Abduction | Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony – On September 11 at 10:08PM, officers responded to investigate a brandishing that was reported to have occurred in the 12300 block of Midsummer Ln. in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that evening. The victim, a 59-year-old man, reported to police that he was in the above area to pick up a fare. An unknown man, later identified as the accused, entered the victim’s vehicle carrying a knife and brandished a firearm. The accused then demanded the victim drive him to an address on Torbay Way in Woodbridge. As the victim was driving, he pulled into a business on Dale Blvd and ran out of the vehicle to contact the police. The accused initially fled the area on foot before officers located him nearby and detained him. At no point were shot fired during the incident. While investigating, officers recovered the knife and the firearm. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Dejurne Aryn Anthony MCCALL, was arrested.

Sexual Assault Investigation – On August 6, detectives with the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at residence located in the Woodbridge (22191) area of Prince William County between January 2005 and December 2006. The investigation revealed that the victim, who was between 7 and 8 years of age at the time of the offenses, was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance, identified as the accused, on more than one occasion during the above timeframe. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Sahr Abu POMBOR, was arrested.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On September 11 at 7:36PM, officers responded to the area of Fox Ridge Ct. and Forest Hill Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shots fired call. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area. The investigation revealed that a verbal altercation between two groups of men escalated when the accused brandished a firearm and fired multiple rounds. Both groups fled the area prior to police arrival. No injuries or property damage were reported. On September 13, following the investigation, the accused, identified as David Lamont WARREN Jr., was arrested.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On September 10 at 11:30PM, officers responded to the Hilton Garden Inn located at 2500 Neabsco Common Pl. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area. The investigation revealed that the accused was driving in the parking lot firing rounds into the air. The accused initially drove out of the parking lot before returning a short time later where officers stopped his vehicle. The driver, identified as the accused, was determined to be intoxicated, and was taken into custody. Officers located a firearm inside the vehicle along with spent shell casings. No injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as James Thomas HARRIS III, was arrested.

Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 11 at 11:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16600 block of Space Moore Cl. in Woodbridge (22191) for a welfare check on an individual at the home. While enroute, officers were informed that the individual was wanted in Prince William County on an unrelated incident. Officers located the individual, identified as Aziz OSMANI, and confirmed his warrant status. Officers took OSMANI into custody and, while escorting him out of the residence, he spat on an officer. The accused was resecured and escorted out of the home without further incident. No injuries were reported.

Abduction | Strangulation | Domestic Related – On September 13 at 3:05AM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 13700 block of Mellowdew Ct. in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that morning. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 42-year-old woman, was seated inside her vehicle in a parking lot on Jefferson Davis Hwy when she was grabbed out of the vehicle by an acquaintance, identified as the accused. The accused then forced the victim into his vehicle and drove to the above residence. The accused took the victim’s property into the residence, where an altercation ensued. During the altercation the accused grabbed the victim’s neck before slamming her into a wall. Shortly after the altercation, the accused pushed the victim out of the residence causing her to fall to the ground. The victim further separated from the residence and contacted the police. Minor injuries were initially reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Cecil Lee WASHINGTON. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

 

Strong-Arm Robbery – On September 12 at 1:46AM, officers responded to the 8900 block of Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, reported to police that while in the parking lot of the above location, she entered a charcoal-colored four door sedan occupied by three unknown men. At one point the victim exited the vehicle and when she returned to the vehicle, one of the occupants grabbed her phone from her hand and pulled her into the vehicle. The occupant then struck the victim and prevented her from leaving the vehicle. Eventually the victim was able to separate from the occupants and ran to a nearby business where police were contacted. The vict im reported minor injuries and her phone, a credit card and money missing.

Strangulation | Domestic Related – On September 13 at 12:28PM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 4600 block of Whitaker Pl. in Woodbridge (22193) on August 23. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 31-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused struck the victim and grabbed her neck. While investigating, officers determined that between May 18 and May 30, there were additional incidents where similar altercations occurred. The victim recently reported the incidents and the minor injuries sustained during the incidents, prompting the police investigation. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Hilton Clay FELTON. Later that evening the accused was located in the Woodbridge area and taken into custody without incident.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 32-year-old woman, and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused struck the victim several times and grabbed her throat. During the altercation, the accused also pushed the victim to the ground where he refused to let her go. After a short time, the accused fled the residence with the victim’s phone. The victim eventually reported the incident prompting the police investigation. The victim reported sustaining injuries at the time of the incident. Attempted Residential Burglary | Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 13 at 4:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of F St. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers located a man matching the suspect description, later identified as the accused, walking off of the homeowner’s property and a detained him. During the investigation, officers determined the accused was intoxicated. The investigation into the burglary revealed that the accused attempted to enter the home through the front door and the rear door which were both secured. The accused then damaged a window covering in an attempt to enter the home through a window. When no entry was made into the home, the accused began to walk off of the property where he encountered the officers. As attempted to escort the accused to a police vehicle, he again began to resist and kicked an officer. The accused was resecured and placed inside the police vehicle. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as David Ian LUCEY, was arrested.

Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On September 7 at 9:30PM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 2900 block of Seminole Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) sometime between March 13 and April 1, 2020. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 42-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the victim attempted to leave. As the victim was walking out of the home, the accused pushed the victim to the ground before striking her in the head with a shoe. The victim eventually separated from the accused and left the area. Following the incident, the accused sent numerous messages to the victim regarding the assault. The victim eventually contacted the police prompting the investigation. The victim reported significant injuries as a result of the incident. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Milton BALLESTEROS. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

 

Aggravated Assault – On September 15 at 1:37AM, officers responded to the 8600 block of Parkland St. in Manassas (20111) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that a group of men were involved in a verbal altercation while in a parking lot of the above area. Video surveillance revealed that at one point, the altercation became physical when a man wearing a light-colored shirt shoved a 26-year-old man to the ground. The two men then engaged in a physical altercation. During the altercation, an additional suspect was observed striking the 26-year-old man before he fell to the ground and then kicked multiple times by both suspects. The suspects fled the area prior to police arrival. The 26-year-old man was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries. Detectives are actively investigating to determine what led up to the altercation. No additional injuries were reported. The suspects were only described as two Hispanic men, one wearing a white shirt, the other wearing a black shirt.

 

Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On September 13 at 7:06PM, officers responded to investigate a destruction of property that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 3500 block of Wharf Ln. in Triangle (22172) earlier that afternoon. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between 4:30PM and 5:30PM that evening, loud noises were heard. Upon checking the home later that evening, damage was discovered in the living room wall. The investigation revealed that multiple rounds were fired before three men left the area. One of the rounds entered the home through the siding before becoming lodged in a living room wall. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

Indecent Exposure – On September 14 at 2:45PM, officers responded to the 1900 block of Old Bridge Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 57-year-old woman, reported to police that while walking on the side of a business in the above area, she observed an unknown man sitting on the outdoor stairwell exposing himself. The suspect was making inappropriate gestures as the victim continued walking into a nearby business. The suspect fled prior to police arrival at the location. At no time was any physical contact made between the victim and the suspect.

Rape – On September 12 at 10:41AM, officers responded to investigate a rape that was reported to have occurred in the area of Armstead St. and Brice St. in Woodbridge (22191) the evening prior. The victim, a 30-year-old woman, reported to police that a man she met the evening before sexually assaulted her. The investigation revealed that on September 11 at approximately 6:30PM, the victim met an unknown man, later identified as the accused, while at a local establishment. Later that evening, the victim offered to give the accused a ride home. At one point during the ride, the victim stopped the vehicle and asked the accused to get out of the vehicle. As the accused was getting out of the vehicle, he took the victim’s cell phone. The victim ran after the accused who had gone into a nearby wooded area where a physical altercation ensued over the phone. During the encounter, the accused began to remove the victim’s clothing before sexually assaulting her. The accused fled the area immediately after the incident. The victim went back to her vehicle and contacted the police the following morning. While investigating, detectives with the Special Victims Unit received information identifying the suspect as Jaime A. GARCIA MENDOZA. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused. On September 14, members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located the GARCIA MENDOZA in Arlington and took him into custody.

Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 11 at 10:30PM, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 7301 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an embezzlement. While investigating, an employee, later identified as the accused, provided false identifying information to officers. When officers attempted to take him into custody, he actively resisted and refused to follow officers commands. During the altercation, the accused pushed one officer and struck another officer while attempting to flee. After a brief struggle, the accused was taken into custody without further incident. Minor injuries were reported by the officers. The initial investigation into the embezzlement will remain active. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Carlo DABU, was arrested.

Attempted Bank Robbery – On September 15 at 4:56PM, officers responded to the BB&T (Truist Bank) located at 12435 Dillingham Sq in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an attempted robbery. The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the bank and approached the teller counter. The man passed a note to the teller demanding money and implied he was armed. The suspect fled the bank, possibly on foot, without taking any money. No injuries were reported, and no weapon was seen. A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police searched the area for the suspect who was not located. The same suspect was possibly in the bank earlier in the day. Nothing of note occurred during that encounter. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery – On September 18 at 9:09PM, officers responded to the Dunkin Donuts located at 8525 Rolling Rd. in Manassas (20110) to investigate a robbery. An employee of the business reported to police that as he reentered the store via the side door, an unknown man followed him inside. Once inside, the man brandished a firearm and demanded money from the cash registers. The suspect then fled out the side door. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located.

Armed Robbery – On September 17 at 9:42PM, officers responded to the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, reported to police that while on the sidewalk in the above area, he was approached by two unknown men asking for money. When the victim refused, one of the men implied he had a weapon before both men grabbed the victim and took his property. The suspects fled when an acquaintance of the victim, who was nearby, began to call for help. One of the suspects got into a blue sedan, while the other suspect fled the area on foot. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Strong-Arm Robbery – On September 18 at 1:51PM, officers responded to the 8300 block of Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 37-year-old man, reported to police that while near a business in the above area, he was approached by three unknown men. The men demanded money from the victim. When the victim refused, the suspects began to strike him before taking money and fleeing in a grey 4-door Honda sedan. The victim reported minor injuries. The suspects were only described as late teen-aged Hispanic males.

 

Attempted Armed Robbery – On September 17 at 6:37PM, officers responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 40-year-old man, reported to police that he was behind a local business when he was struck from behind. Upon turning around, the victim observed an unknown woman and two unknown men, one of which was brandishing a knife towards him. During the altercation, the suspects attempted to take the victim’s property before bystanders intervened. The suspects fled prior to police arriving in the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. No property was reported missing.

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On September 15 at 8:25PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14400 block of Otis Ct. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 49-year-old man, was outside of the residence when a family member, identified as the accused, drove his vehicle onto the property. The victim was able to move out of the way to avoid being struck by the vehicle. A verbal altercation continued between the two parties as they entered the home. The accused initially fled the residence prior to police arriving at the home, and later returned where officers took him into custody without incident. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. After being released, the accused returned to the residence, he and the victim engaged in an additional altercation. During the altercation, the accused threw knives at the victim, grazing him. Eventually, a family member intervened and separated the two parties. The victim reported minor injuries. Armed Robbery – On September 22 at 6:08PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery that was reported to have occurred near Ashton Ave. and Hollis Dr. in Manassas (20109) at approximately 9:30PM on September 18. The investigation revealed that the victims, both 15-year-old male juveniles, were walking in the above area when they were approached by three unknown males. During the encounter, one of the suspects demanded the victim’s property while lifting his shirt to brandish a firearm that was in his waistband. The suspects took money before fleeing on foot. The victim’s continued to their destination. No injuries were reported. All three suspects were described as late teenaged black males, one wearing a red bandana around his face.

 

Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery – On September 22 at 9:21PM, officers responded to the area near Greenwood Dr. and Granby Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted robbery. The victim, a 42-year-old man, reported to police that while walking in the above area, a black 4-door sedan pulled up next to him. During the encounter, the driver of the vehicle demanded the victim’s property. The victim ran to a nearby fire station where police were contacted. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival at the location. No property was reported missing and at no time was there any physical contact between the victim and the suspect.

Commercial Burglary – On September 22 at 10:44AM, officers responded to K & W Autobody located at 15413 Farm Creek Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. An employee reported to police that a broken window was found upon arriving at the business earlier that morning. The investigation revealed that an unknown man made entry into the business through the damaged window before being observed on video surveillance walking around inside the office. At this time, no property has been reported missing.

Shooting Investigation – On September 23 at 4:07PM, officers responded to the area of Flotilla Way and Dyers Mill Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed that the driver of a vehicle, identified as 26-year-old man, and several other passengers were driving through the above area when their vehicle was shot at by an unknown man. The driver returned fire before fleeing the area and encountering police on an unrelated call in the area of Fox Lair Dr. As a result of the shooting, a 15-year-old male passenger was grazed by a round and a second passenger, a 25-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries after being struck by debris. No additional injuries were reported. While canvassing, officers located multiple shell casings and additional vehicles with damage consistent with being struck by projectiles. Video surveillance from a nearby residence was received by police showing part of the incident. Detectives are actively investigating to determine the events that led up to the shooting. The investigation continues.

The victim, a 15-year-old male juvenile, reported to police that earlier that evening he was walking in the above area when he was approached by three unknown men who demanded his property. When the victim refused, the suspects assaulted him before taking his phone and fleeing the area on foot. The victim continued to his destination and contacted the police. No injuries were reported.

Rape – On September 22, detectives with the Special Victims Unit concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred in the Woodbridge (22191) area of Prince William County between August 22 and September 20. The investigation revealed that on two separate occasions during that timeframe, the victim, a 12-year-old girl, was sexually assaulted by a family member, identified as the accused. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Kevin Vladimir AMAYA. On September 23, members of the Durham Police Department located AMAYA and took him into custody, where he will remain until extradited back to Prince William County.

Malicious Wounding | Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery – On September 25 at 8:34PM, officers responded to the area of Old Bridge Rd. and Hedges Run Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. Upon arriving at the location, officers observed a patron of the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC) bus, later identified as the accused, being detained by two other patrons from the bus. The investigation revealed that the accused was yelling at the PRTC driver, a 49-year-old woman, before breaking the plastic partition and striking her. When the victim stated she was calling the police, the accused attempted to take her phone. A struggle over the phone ensued and at some point, two bus patrons, a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, intervened and eventually detained the accused until police arrived at the location. During the altercation, the accused lit a lighter and attempted to burn the two men. All three of the victims reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Joshua Albert JACOBSON, was arrested.

Rape – On September 25, detectives with the Special Victims Unit concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred in the Manassas (20109) area of Prince William County between July 21-30. The investigation revealed that on two separate occasions during the above timeframe, the victim, a 47-year-old woman, was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance, identified as the accused. The victim recently reported the incidents to police prompting the investigation. Following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Manuel CONSTANZA LOPEZ. On September 25, CONSTANZA LOPEZ was taken into custody by members of the Manassas Park Police Department.

Armed Robbery – On September 27 at 11:15PM, officers responded to the Coverstone 4 Apartments located in the 7600 block of Cass Pl in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 27-year-old man, was making a pizza delivery to the above area when he encountered two unknown men in front of an apartment building. During the encounter, one of the men displayed a knife. The men took the order before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located.

Strong-Armed Robbery – On September 26 at 3:17PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 8300 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) on September 25 at approximately 12:00PM. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 53-year-old woman, was exiting her vehicle in a parking lot in the above area when she was approached from behind by four unknown men. The men immediately grabbed an envelope containing an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. The victim reported the incident to police the following day. The suspects were only described as black males, late teens to late 20s, three of which were wearing a black t-shirt and one wearing an orange t-shirt.

 

Residential Burglary – On September 27 at 5:34PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10100 block of Cannonball Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that sometime between 1:00PM and 2:30PM, the homeowner woke to noise from a lower level of the residence. Upon checking the disturbance, the homeowner observed an unknown man flee out the front door with property from the home. Entry into the home was believed to have been made through an unsecured front window. A gaming console and related equipment were reported missing. The suspect was only described as a Hispanic male.

 

Brandishing – On September 27 at 4:50PM, officers responded to the 14400 block of General Washington Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an initial report of a fight. When officers arrived in the area, they determined that a verbal altercation occurred between a homeowner, identified as the accused, and a tow truck driver, identified as 45-year-old man. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a handgun and brandished it towards the victim. No shots were fired, and no physical altercation occurred between the parties. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Eric LEVENBERRY, was charged.

Strangulation | Domestic Related – On September 26 at 11:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Torrington St in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 29-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused choked the victim before throwing her to the ground. The parties eventually separated, and police were contacted. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Daniel ROMERO FLORES, was charged.

Attempted Commercial Burglary – On September 29 at 2:08AM, officers responded to the Bristow Vape & Smoke store located at 1085 Nokesville Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. Upon arriving at the business, officers observed damage to a side window. Video surveillance footage revealed two unknown men approached the building where one threw the rock, smashing the side window. Both men then fled the area on foot. At this time, no entry appears to have been made into the business and no property was reported missing.

Felony Child Neglect – On September 28 at 4:30PM, officers responded to investigate a shooting that was reported to have occurred at an apartment located in the Townsquare at Dumfries apartments, 3900 block of Townsquare Ct. in Triangle (22172), earlier that afternoon. Police were notified by an area hospital that the victim, a 2-year-old girl, was at the facility being treated for gunshot injuries to her lower body. Officers responded to the hospital where it was determined that the incident occurred at the apartment in Triangle. The investigation revealed that the victim was asleep on a bed while her mother, identified as the accused, was cleaning the room. While the accused was cleaning, a loaded firearm was placed on the same bed as the victim. When the victim woke, she began to handle the firearm which discharged a round, striking her in the lower body. The accused and another family member attempted to drive to an area hospital when they stopped near a fire station for assistance. The victim was then transported to an area hospital where the injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Kaylen Marie MAIN, was arrested.

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Felony Hit and Run – On September 29 at 12:07AM, officers responded to investigate a hit and run that was reported to have occurred on Botts Ave. near Potomac View Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that evening. The victim, a 20- year-old woman, reported to police that while driving in the above area, she observed a vehicle driving closely behind her. At one point, the other vehicle struck the victim’s vehicle from behind before crossing over into the oncoming traffic lane and pulling parallel to her vehicle. The victim immediately recognized the driver as an acquaintance, identified as the accused. The accused then turned his vehicle and struck the victim’s vehicle a second time before fleeing the area. The victim drove to the police station to report the incident. Later that evening, officers located the accused and the vehicle in the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy. and Prince William Pkwy. where the accused was taken into custody. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, Emerson RIVAS QUINTANILLA, was arrested.

Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On September 27 at 6:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8100 block of Community Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic. The investigation revealed that the domestic was verbal only. During the investigation, officers determined that one of the parties involved, identified as the accused, took property from a vehicle that was parked nearby. The accused was located in the backyard of his residence where officers attempted to detain him. During the arrest, the accused actively resisted and refused to follow officer’s commands. After a brief struggle, the accused struck and shoved the officers before being detained. While searching the accused incident to arrest, he was found in possession of suspected illegal narcotics. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Hugo GUZMAN-PANIAGUA, was arrested.

Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On September 29 at 7:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2200 block of Fort Pickens Ct. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a shots fired call. The homeowner reported to police that while inside their home, several gunshots were heard and a loud noise at their front door, which was found damaged. The investigation revealed that several rounds were fired, before two men were seen fleeing from the area. No injuries or additional property damage were reported. The only suspect descriptions are two black males between 18-25 years of age, one of which was wearing a white shirt and black pants, while the other suspect was wearing all black clothing.

 

Armed Robbery – On September 29 at 7:00PM, officers responded to the 8100 block of Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 36-year-old man, reported to police that while walking in the parking lot of the above area, he was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s property. The suspect took money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.

Abduction | Attempted Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On September 29 at 10:38PM, officers responded to the Stonebridge Terrace Apartments located in the 14700 block of River Walk Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic with weapons. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 32-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation while in the parking deck. During the encounter, the accused used her vehicle to block the victim’s vehicle and prevent her from leaving. The victim and the accused then entered their apartment where the altercation escalated further when the accused brandished a knife towards the victim. The victim was able to separate from the accused and ran back to her vehicle. The accused followed the victim before she could leave and damaged the victim’s vehicle making it inoperable. The accused then got into her own vehicle and struck the victim’s vehicle again, while the victim was inside. Officers arrived at the location a short time later and detained the accused without incident. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Emoni Naequan BRENNON, was arrested. While officers conducted a search incident to arrest, the accused was found in possession of suspected illegal narcotics.

Strong-Arm Robbery – On September 29 at 5:16PM, officers responded to the 1600 block of Prince William Pkwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 37-year-old man, reported to police that he was walking in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. when a vehicle approached. During the encounter, the occupants of the vehicle offered the victim a ride. The driver drove to the above area where he demanded the victim’s money. Both the occupants then assaulted the accused before taking his money and phone and fleeing the area. The victim walked to a nearby business and contacted the police. While investigating, officers located the suspect vehicle and both occupants at a local business in the Dumfries area. Officers detained both men without incident. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, both men, identified as James Andrew MORALES and Burrell CREWS Jr., were arrested. While officers conducted a search incident to arrest, CREWS Jr. was found in possession of suspected illegal narcotics prepared for distribution and provided officers with a false identity.

Strangulation | Domestic Related [Previously Released] – On July 26 at 11:09PM, officers responded to the Summertree Condominiums located in the 7500 block of Margate Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 45-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim into a wall before grabbing the victim’s throat. Eventually the parties separated, and the accused fled the area prior to police arriving at the location. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the accused, identified as Jorge PEREZ. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On September 30 at 6:27PM, officers responded to the area of Heth Ct. and Old Triangle Rd. in Dumfries (22026) to assist Dumfries Police Department with a shots fired call. The investigation revealed that a man approached the parking lot of the above area and engaged in a verbal altercation with another man who was on the other side of the parking lot. After a brief encounter, both men brandished a firearm and exchanged gunfire before fleeing on foot. Shortly after, a community member flagged down a Dumfries town police officer. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were no located. No injuries were reported. While canvassing, officers located multiple houses and vehicles that sustained damage consistent with being struck by projectiles.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On September 30 at 8:18PM, officers responded to the 3600 block of Thomasson Crossing Dr. in Triangle (22172) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed that multiple rounds were fired before three unknown white men fled the area on foot. Officers determined one of the rounds struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. While canvassing, officers located a round from the driveway of one of the homes in the above area. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.

Aggravated Sexual Battery – On September 29, detectives with the Special Victims Unit concluded an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the Woodbridge (22193) area of Prince William County on August 1. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14-year-old female juvenile, was inappropriately touched by an acquaintance, identified as the accused, on two separate occasions during that day. Shooting Investigation | Attempted Armed Carjacking – On October 2 at 3:51AM, officers responded to investigate a shooting that was reported to have occurred in the area of Summerland Dr. and Gardenview Lp. in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that morning. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 42-year-old man, was driving in the above area when he was flagged down by three unknown masked men. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a firearm towards the victim and demanded his vehicle. The victim immediately fled the area while the armed suspect fired multiple rounds, striking the vehicle. The victim returned to the area where he observed one of the men a second time. As the victim continued to drive, the man fired multiple rounds towards the victim’s vehicle. The victim then continued to his destination before contacting the police. No injuries were reported, and the victim’s vehicle was struck several times.

Armed Carjacking – On October 2 at 2:12AM, officers responded to the Summerland Heights Apartments located in the 1900 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that her 2010 grey Mazda 3 was stolen by three unknown men. The investigation revealed that the victim left her unsecured vehicle running in front of an apartment. As the victim was walking back to the vehicle, she observed the men walk up to her vehicle and get inside. When the victim confronted the men, one of them brandished a firearm towards her before fleeing the area in her vehicle. The victim immediately contacted the police. No injuries were reported.

Armed Robbery – On October 4 at 2:48AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 12400 block of Dillingham Sq. in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that morning. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 34-year-old man, was in the parking lot of the above area when he was approached by three unknown men. During the encounter, one of the men demanded the victim’s property. When the victim refused, a light-colored Chevrolet Suburban pulled up next to the group. The driver exited the vehicle brandishing a firearm, and at one point during the encounter, struck the victim in the face. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s backpack and left the area in the vehicle. The victim left the parking lot and went to an area hospital where police were notified. The victim did not know how the other suspects left the location. The victim’s backpack containing a firearm were reported missing. The only suspect description is the driver of the vehicle who was described as a black male wearing grey colored clothing and a black mask.

 

Armed Robbery – On October 4 at 12:01AM, officers responded to Pro Styl’n Hair Salon located at 14459 Potomac Mills Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 53-year-old man, reported to police that he was near the rear of the business when a Kia Optima approached him. During the encounter, two men exited the vehicle where one brandished a firearm while the other assaulted the victim. The suspects took the victim’s property before fleeing in the Kia. The victim reported minor injuries. The only suspect description was two black males, and the passenger was heavy set with gold teeth.

 

Attempted Strong-Armed Robbery – On October 3 at 2:51AM, officers responded to the 13600 block of Lynn St. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 25-year-old woman, was walking in the area when she was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man took the victim’s property before pushing her to the ground. The suspect then fled the area on foot. The victim eventually went to a nearby fire station where police were contacted. No injuries were reported. While investigating, officers located all of the victim’s property.

Abduction | Strangulation | Domestic Related – On October 2 at 11:00PM, officers responded to the Enclave at Potomac Club Apartments located in the 15200 block of Leicestershire St. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 31-yearold woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused physically restrained her to prevent her from leaving the apartment. The accused then grabbed the victim’s phone and refused to give it back to her. During the encounter, the accused threw the victim on the ground, struck her, and put his hands around her throat. Eventually, a family member intervened, and the victim was able to separate from the accused and notified a security guard who contacted the police. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Carlin Markquez Mavery WILKINS, was arrested.

The investigation revealed that two men were behind a business in the above area when one man, later identified as the accused, struck the victim, a 55-year-old man, with a piece of asphalt. The accused then struck and kicked the victim as he fell to the ground. While in the ground, the accused grabbed the victim’s throat. At some point, bystanders intervened and separated the two men just prior to police arriving in the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation revealed that the accused was in an altercation prior where a 31-year-old male family member intervened and separated the parties. A short time later, the accused exited her room, jumped onto the same family member’s back, and began striking him before biting his arm. Eventually the parties separated, and the police were contacted. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Lexy Elizabeth SANTOS, was arrested.

The suspect, Jerrod Marquis GALLOWAY, was located in College Park, MD and taken into custody by members of the Maryland State Police. An additional suspect was previously arrested in connection to this investigation on May 6.

The victim, a 34-year-old man, reported to police that upon hearing the doorbell, he opened the door at which point an unknown man then forced his way into the apartment. The suspect then struck the victim in the face with a firearm before taking property and fleeing the area on foot. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. The victim reported minor injuries. A gaming system and a pair of “Jordan” style shoes were reported missing.

The victim, a 15-year-old male juvenile, reported to police that he arranged to meet an unknown individual in the above area to purchase marijuana. As the victim was walking, an unknown individual approached him from behind and struck him in the head with a firearm. The victim fell to the ground where the suspect then demanded the victim’s property before striking the victim in the face with the firearm. The suspect fled on foot and the victim contacted a family member who drove him to the hospital where police were contacted. The victim reported non-life threatening injuries and an undisclosed amount of money missing. At no time were any shots fired during the incident.

Upon arriving at the location, officers located the victim, a 52-year-old man, suffering from lacerations to his head. The investigation revealed that the victim was sitting in the grass while in the above area when an unknown man approached him from behind. During the encounter, the suspect struck the victim multiple times before walking away. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

As officers were investigating, they determined the woman, identified as the accused, was intoxicated, and took her into custody. While escorting the accused to a police car, she kicked an officer on more than one occasion and later threatened the officer. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Eryn Marie JONES, was arrested.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On October 1 at 8:50PM, officers responded to the Maplewood Park Apartments located in the 8100 block of Peakwood Ct. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival, officers heard a gunshot inside one of the apartments which was later determined to be the apartment of the accused. The investigation revealed that the accused fired multiple rounds inside the apartment before the roommate fled and contacted the police. While investigating, the accused exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported and no property outside of the accused’s room was reported damaged. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as John Richard NEAL III, was arrested.

Commercial Burglaries *ARREST – On October 5, detectives with the Property Crimes Unit concluded the investigation into two separate burglaries that were reported to have occurred at Pizza Boli’s and Queenly Nails, both located on Wayside Dr. in Dumfries (22026), on June 22. The suspect, identified as Gabriel Armani COBB, was taken into custody for an unrelated case earlier that day (see incident under “Arrests”). While investigating that incident, detectives determined COBB was responsible for both previously reported commercial burglaries and was arrested. The case remains active as detectives continue to attempt to identify the additional suspects.

Commercial Burglary [Previously Released] – On June 22 at 2:09AM, officers responded to the Pizza Boli’s located at 17197 Wayside Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The call was initially received from a homeowner on nearby Larkin Dr who reported seeing two unknown, possibly teenage males running through the neighborhood carrying a cash register. When officers arrived, they located the cash register broken on a sidewalk. During a canvass of Southbridge Plaza, officers found the rear door to the Pizza Boli’s unsecured. As officers searched the business, they observed the cash register missing. The business owner was contacted and confirmed the cash register was missing from the business. Upon reviewing surveillance footage, two males were seen entering the business while a third remained at the door. The suspects were not located. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

 

Residential Burglary – On October 5 at 12:20AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3500 block of Briarwood Dr. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. Upon arriving at the home, officers observed two men walking in the above area who matched the suspect descriptions provided by the caller. When officers attempted to detain them, one of the men initially fled on foot and was eventually detained. The second man was detained without incident. The investigation revealed that the suspects gained entry into the residence through a window which was found damaged. Once inside the residence, the suspects began removing property and putting it into their vehicle parked nearby. At one point, one of the suspects attempted to gain entry into a separate unoccupied vehicle which activated nearby motion lights prompting a neighbor to contact the police. Following the investigation, the suspects, identified as Brian Laray

PROCTOR and Gabriel COBB, were arrested.

Burglary while Armed | Shooting Investigation – On October 7 at 3:19AM, officers responded to the 2300 block of West Longview Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a home invasion. A resident of the home, a 57-year-old man, reported to police that he was asleep when he woke to his dog barking. When the resident opened his bedroom door, he encountered an unknown man brandishing a firearm. The suspect demanded money from the resident and his wife, a 31-year-old woman, before striking them both with the firearm. At the same time, a second suspect proceeded to the basement where he brandished a firearm and demanded money from two other residents of the home, a 41-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman. At one point, the suspect struck the male resident in the basement with the firearm before firing a round into a wall. After the shot was fired, both suspects fled the residence on foot. The investigation revealed that the suspects entered the home through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. No injuries or additional property damage were reported. Four children aging from 6 to 15 years of age were asleep inside the residence at the time of the incident and were not injured. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.

Suspect Descriptions:

Both men were described as Hispanic males between 22-25 years of age, approximately 5’8”, and last seen wearing all black clothing while carrying a firearm
